2015 Littleton Twilight Criterium
The 2015 Littleton Twilight Criterium will be held on Saturday, August 1 in Downtown Littleton, Colorado. Racing will start in the afternoon and finish under the lights, from 3:30 to 10:30 p.m.
The criterium is a 1.3 km closed-circuit bicycle race that winds through the streets of Downtown Littleton. The event draws the best competitors from all over the United States who will reach almost 40 mph on the course. Race announcers broadcast the action, providing insight for spectators at the start/finish line on Main Street.
Spectators will enjoy a festival atmosphere with food, drinks, music, a bounce house, Strider bikes, face-painting, and a vendor area. Watch the amazing King BMX demos at starting at 5 p.m., and bring your own bike down for the free cruiser ride at 7:30 p.m.
The Littleton Twilight Criterium is a national race, sanctioned by USA Cycling, and part of the Professional National Criterium Calendar. It is on the Professional National Criterium Calendar with more than $24,000 in prize money.
Race Route, Parking, and Traffic Detours
Street closures will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 1.
All vehicles parked on or inside the race route after 1 p.m. will be towed.
